Direction
A circle may begin anywhere. Every beginning has its opposite, so the directions are countless. That is why π has life: it never stops.
Four directions are enough to work with: −0 and +0 across, and 1 at the centre. The hand carries them: the fingers as the directions, and the thumb as the centre.
